And Then There Were Some

No-Exit-Placeholder-3bThe new interactive murder mystery written and directed by Emily Fitzgerald, writer/director of, amongst others, last year’s No Rescue Required and the ATAC award-winning Creatures of the Night (2016).

Enid Dobbs’ life is in danger. This owner of the shoddy Briar Rose Theater turns to local fixer DD McGee, who in turn recruits Rowan Goody, witch, and private detectives Dandy and Valentine. Trapped with hapless actors in the theater’s green room, they attempt battle against an unseen assailant who is able to kill off whomever he wants, in various creative ways, one victim at a time. And who makes it out alive is up to you.  Two audience votes are taken during the course of the play, and the ending is one you’ll never see coming.

An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe

Written by Derek Berlin

Almost a week before his death, Edgar Allan Poe was found wandering the streets of Baltimore, delirious and incoherent.  Derek Berlin takes us inside Poe’s dream state where he narrates his life’s journey. From his purgatorial state, Poe spins his last haunting ghosts of thought: a personal tale of pain, sorrow, and the desire for his soul’s redemption. Rediscover Poe’s Gothic and macabre glory in this one-man show starring Derek Berlin.

“Like Harry Houdini himself, what audiences might find most alluring is the opportunity to see this eclectic take on a feat few performers would endeavor.” – Jade Esteban Estrada, San Antonio Sentinel

By Our Hands

By Our Hands by Morgan Clyde and Michael Song

Directed by Caleb Craig

ByOurrHandsSynopsis

Post-apocalyptic future. After a nuclear event destroyed much of the country, militias who had lost faith in the government took control of their respective areas. As the world rebuilds, several different factions of rebels vie for control.

The central government stepped in to restore order and balance, and now all traditional weapons have been collected and destroyed. However, rumor has it that a weapons cache exists that has been hidden from those in power. Hard evidence comes to light that it is more than a rumor, and our heroes’ faction sets a plan in motion to find this foothold for control.

Thus, our story begins.

This production will consist of intense stage combat sequences for which our acting talent will train for over the course of four weeks. The production will take on a barren wasteland aesthetic akin to Mad Max: Fury Road while retaining a Mission Impossible style story-line.
