OT Board of Directors

The OT Board of Directors are voted on and elected by company members every 2 years. 

Emily Cross

Emily Cross is profoundly grateful for the opportunity to return to The Overtime Theater for this experience. Recent roles include “Luce Calderon” in In a Margaret Atwood Minute (or The Book Bitch) at The Overtime and “Miss Lynch” in Grease at The Wonder. She graduated from Texas State University in 2017 with her BFA and Teaching Certification in Theatre. She extends her heartfelt thanks to her spouse, Cameron, for being her greatest cheerleader and best friend, and to her cats, Ducky and Apple, for their adorable companionship.

Venny Mortimer

Venny Mortimer is a San Antonio-based actor, improvisor, writer, director, and musician, who has been involved in many creative projects across town, such as the Monsternomicon at Woodlawn Comedy and Eddie and Vinnie at the Magik Theatre.

Michael Burger Song

Michael Burger Song has been a part of San Antonio Theater for nearly 20 years. He has written for, directed for and performed at the Overtime Theater many times as the theater has been through its many iterations. 

Nickolas Villarreal

Nickolas “Nicko” Villarreal is a local troublemaker, performer and designer. He was active in collegiate theatre where he was recognized by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, with awards/nominations in both set design and performance. Nickolas has interned with Texas Non-Profit Theatres as an Arts Administrator, carpenter, student art therapist and more. Recently Nicko spends most of his theatrical time at the Overtime Theatre, helping out where he is able.

 

Rob Barron

Rob Barron is a San Antonio accountant with long and extensive ties to local theater. He has worked closely with the Overtime since it’s inception.

 

OT Staff

The OT Staff act as operational directors for the Overtime Theater. 

Angie Hernandez – Artistic Director

Angie Hernandez was born and raised in San Antonio.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Theater from the University of Notre Dame. She has worked on stage and backstage at The Overtime since 2010. Some of her favorite productions to be a part of include Dr. S Battles the Sex Crazed Reefer Zombies: The Movie: The Musical, The Adventures of Captain Cortez and the Tri-Lambda Brigade, Flash!!! and Hell and Back.

Gina Schneider – Production and Company Manager

Gina Schneider joined the Overtime Company in 2013 as a stage manager, director, and board operator. She is a native San Antonian and has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word and Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. “A society without art soon finds itself with nothing to pass on.”  – Ming Cho Lee

Natalie Buster – Resident Intimacy Coach

Natalie Buster (C-IAYT, RYT500, TIYT) is an actor and a certified trauma-informed yoga therapist.  As a professional actor in New York City, Natalie first discovered yoga as a way to practice self care, set boundaries, and work within traumatic and triggering texts.  Acting allowed Natalie to perform in all 50 states, and 33 countries.  After dealing with personal loss, Natalie found comfort in the world of yoga therapy and has since made it her life’s mission to help people find relief and love.  Natalie specializes in working with people at the end of life, people experiencing grief and loss, and performers looking to practice self care. She is the founder of the Grounded Actor Project, a method of integrating yoga and theatre to provide tools for theatre professionals needing intimacy coordination, boundary setting, and self care. She currently serves as a local non-profit director for ABODE, an end-of-life care home in San Antonio, TX, and has just returned home from the West Coast tour of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Georgie Lee – Brand Manager and Graphic Designer

Georgie Lee is a writer, performer, and graphic designer from south tejas. He is grateful to be included in the Overtime family and passionate about what this Theater represents for local playwrights, performers, and San Antonio audiences as a whole. When not writing, rehearsing or designing, you can typically find Georgie running, napping, or singing to his cats. Georgie hopes to inspire others to explore the power of recovery through creative activity. 

Jana Carol – Social Media Manager

Jana Carol has also been a board member, stage manager, actor and all-around volunteer at the Overtime since 2016. She has also performed at The Classic Theater, The Sheldon Vexler Theater and other community theaters. She is a retired teacher and looks forward to more theater adventures.
