In a Margaret Atwood Minute

The Overtime Theater brings a new dystopian play with their latest production In a Margaret Atwood Minute by Anne Valentino. The story takes place in the not-too-distant future with a country under siege—books are being banned, gay marriage has been outlawed, education on gender and ethnic studies are a thing of the past. Even flags that dare stray outside the carefully colored lines of “patriotism” are no longer allowed.

Performances run June 7 – 29, 2024, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, with one Sunday matinee on June 23 at 2 PM, and Pay-What-You-Will night on Thursday, June 13 at 8 PM. The Overtime Theater is located at 5409 Bandera Road, Suite 205 on the city’s northwest side. General admission tickets are $18, or $12 for SATCO members, military and students with a valid ID. Due to adult themes and images, this show is recommended for audiences 18 and up.
